Lisa Davenport
General Manager
Hi my name is Lisa and I have been a part of the bear family since 2005 from when Bear Necessities Daycare was first established. I then continued on the Bear journey when the nursery rebranded in 2020. I hold a level 4 qualification and have over 20 years experience in childcare. I have a husband and two daughters who have certainly helped widen my knowledge, giving me the advantage of seeing things from the parent/carers perspective. I am the designated safeguarding lead and hold a full paediatric first aid certificate.

Hello, my name is Stacey I have been part of the bear family since 2005 and have transitioned with the nursery rebranding in 2020. I hold a level 3 qualification. I have worked with children from leaving college. I have two children and enjoy doing fun things and activities with them during my weekends which definitely inspires me to create wonderful, engaging activities within the setting. I am a designated safeguarding officer and a hold a full paediatric first aid certificate

Hi my name is Nic, I have worked in childcare for 6 years, spending those years with bears starting with our wrap around care setting before moving to our main nursery setting. Outside from work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends especially my daughter.
Georgia Yin

Hi my name is Georgia Yin, I am qualified level 2 EYP qualification and I enjoy working with children in bears they bring me joy and happiness. I like to play games and listen to music in my spare time. I hope I can bring happiness and a safe playing environment for children in bears in the coming day. I hold a full paediatric first aid certificate and have completed safeguarding course.

Hello, my name is Aishah. I joined Bears as a student in 2018 doing my placement to achieve my level 3 qualification in early years. Once I achieved my level 3, I was offered a permanent job and from then worked in yellow room. I built up my skills and knowledge and shortly after was promoted to team leader. I really enjoy helping children grow and learn throughout their development.

Hello, my name is Alishba and I have been in working in the childcare sector for 8 years. I have been a member of the Bear family for 5 years now. I hold a level 3 qualification in childcare. I enjoy working in this industry very much as I get to meet a variety of families. I like helping children meet their needs and goals. I hold a full paediatric first aid certificate. I am now working as both the Behaviour Officer and the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator),I am also qualified as a designated safeguarding lead.

Hi my name is Uswa and I have joined the bear family. I hold a level 2 and level 3 childcare qualification and I'm working towards my level 4 and 5 childcare qualification. Hi my name is Emma I have been working in childcare since 2014, I hold a level 5 qualification and have been working as part of the Bear family for 9 years. I hold a safeguarding certificate and i am first aid trained. I find working in pre school very rewarding and love to do lots of creative activities. When i am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and going out for dinner.
Jasmin Leigh

Hi my name is Jasmin, I have worked in childcare for almost four years and have spent time in a few different nurseries gaining experience before joining Bears. I am level 2 qualified and will be working towards my Level 3 in the near future. I love looking after the children in nursery and also outside of nursery such as my little brother. I have found this to definitely have helped me become a successful practitioner. I hold a full paediatric first aid certificate.

Hi my is Samantha Nield. I am currently doing a level 3 apprenticeship at bears necessities. I chose to work with children as I believe if we could help them enjoy their first steps of education I have done my job. In my spare time I enjoy doing various activities with my son. I also hold a paediatric first aid certificate and safeguarding certificate.

Hi, I’m Elaine, I have been a helper of the nursery for some years now. I spend majority of my time supporting the Red room interacting with the children. I very much enjoy helping the team bring on the development of the children.
Matilda Donohoe

Hi my name is Matilda, I have been working at the nursery for the past two years and really enjoy being part of the team.
One of my main responsibilities is helping to keep the nursery clean, tidy and organised. I take pride in making sure the rooms and areas are kept to a high standard and that everything is ready for the children each day. I am a hardworking, reliable and caring person.
I enjoy being part of the nursery and look forward to continuing to support the nursery.
Zoe Carden

Hi, I’m Zoe, and I’m the nursery cook. I really enjoy my role and love being able to prepare healthy, nutritious and tasty meals for the children each day.
I believe mealtimes are an important part of the nursery day. I enjoy creating a variety of meals that the children can enjoy, while making sure their individual dietary requirements, allergies and preferences are always taken into consideration.
I take pride in providing fresh, balanced meals and introducing children to different foods and flavours. It makes me happy to see the children enjoying the food I have prepared for them.
